Evidence based knowledge is critically important in manual therapy, great practitioners are not guessing about what is happening under their hands, effective manual therapists know the impact of their touch and their words.

Touch as a therapeutic intervention requires knowledge from many disciplines in order to affect change in the system of the client.  It starts with a deep dive into anatomy and physiology of all systems of the body and it helps to understand these systems at many levels; from the micro to the macro. Touch is also a relational intervention, the social dynamic between practitioner and client impacts the psychology of the client.

I am a specialist.  My work is a good fit for people who notice their posture is getting disorganized over time, for people who have chronic pain that has been assessed medically and been told that the pain lives in the soft tissue, and for people who want to augment their athletic performance.
